About mooshigraph

mooshigraph turns log files of the Mooshimeter multimeter into interactive graphs. Upload a log, and you get a link to a graph you can zoom, switch between units, download as PNG or CSV, and share. It is a free, non-commercial service run by a Mooshimeter user since 2016.

Which files work?

The CSV logs the Mooshimeter writes to its micro SD card, either read from the card directly or downloaded with the Mooshimeter app. A log starts with a short header followed by one line per sample:

CH1: AMPS 10A
CH2: VOLT 60V
UTC TIME SEC ,CH1 AMPS DC ,CH2 VOLT DC
1760847688.040, 2.236251E-02, 1.301855E001

Statistics

For each visible channel the graph page shows minimum, maximum, average, range, first and last value with the change in between, number of samples and duration – for the whole log and for the zoomed part. The time axis can also show the time since the start of the log, and the CSV download covers the whole log or just the zoomed part. For current channels the charge (Ah) is calculated. If a log contains one current and one voltage channel, a calculated power channel (W) and the energy (Wh) are available as well – handy for battery charging and discharging logs.

Privacy

Only the measurement values, the title and the file name of an upload are stored – not the uploaded file itself and nothing about you. There are no cookies, no tracking and no third-party services. Details (in German) are in the privacy notes for mooshigraph, which supplement the general privacy policy.

History

  1. 2026

Complete rewrite. Interactive graphs instead of static images: zoom, channel toggle, unit and time format switchable after the upload, time shown in your local time zone, statistics for the zoomed range, calculated power and energy, PNG and CSV download, dark mode, public gallery, manage link to edit or delete a graph, and better handling of damaged log lines.

  2. 2018

    Automatic cleanup of old graphs.

  3. December 2016

Statistics per channel extended by the range (max − min). Unique graph IDs made collision-free. Code cleanup.

  4. November 2016

First version: upload a log, get a graph image. Wide images up to 19200 × 750 pixels for long logs, statistics per channel (min, max, average), channel selection, temperature and time format conversion.
